Review from OnlineBookClub.org
This book’s plot was intriguing. William H. Coles wrote the book in such a way that even a layperson could understand it. While writing the book, he used simple words. The book was exceptionally well edited and had no grammatical errors. The plot of the book was full of suspense. My interest grew as I read each chapter. I was dying to know what happened to Dr. Hiram later on. I liked how the author used this book to demonstrate the consequences of broken promises. Dr. Hiram had no enemies before the election. He made enemies after failing to fulfill his promises to his friends. They turned against him, resulting in his lifelong struggle. I also liked how the author used the organization’s election to promote the importance of fairness in elections. This book’s characters were well developed.
There was nothing about this book that I didn’t like. My favorite character was Dr. Hiram. Despite facing numerous challenges, he remained strong and optimistic about his future. What I liked best about Dr. Hiram was watching him transform from a haughty and arrogant man to a humble and patient man. He also cared for his children regardless of the circumstances. He made sure that they had everything they needed to feel at ease.
I would give this book a rating of 5 out of 5 stars because it inspired me greatly.
